    Range:
    Found in Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa, and recently in New Zealand. They are resident in warm and temperate regions. The northernmost populations of Eurasia migrate southwards under influence of hard climate. Asian populations migrate southwards and westwards if waters are frozen.
