The Western Ghats, also called the ‘Sahyadri’, is a mountain range that covers a stretch of 1,600 kilometres, parallel to the western coast of the Indian peninsula, traversing the states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra and Gujarat. It is a haven for flora, fauna and more than 500 bird species. Only passerine birds are covered, clicked from author's camera.
