    Habitat:
    Breed around marshes, ponds. fresh-water lakes, swamps and rice fields, where there’s a luxuriant growth of lilypads, lotus plants and other partially submerged vegetation. In summer jacana mostly occur up to 1524 meters altitude. Most birds descend to warmer, low-lying wetlands in winter
